Bottle. Pretty much what you’d expect all the way around. Has the color of pineapple juice, smells like pineapple juice. The taste has a definite pineapple essence, but also the desired beery backbone. This is kinda like a traditional British shandy, but using pineapple juice instead of 7Up. Not as bad as I’d feared.

Aroma is pineapple, tropical hops and mild milk/milk shake. The flavor is pineapple/juice, hops/hop resin, malts, mild milkshake in the middle and a mix of spicy and warming alcohol in the finish. MetalNHopHead (2257) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - APR 18, 2017
A lot of IPA’s have a character that can be described as creamy, but an IPA with actual lactose is a bit new for me. This hazy gold-orange brew has a tropical aroma. Flavor is akin to a mango/pineapple milkshake. Thick mouthfeel. I wasn’t completely sold, maybe because I was still wrapping my head around the concept, but the idea is original and executed pretty well. ClarkVV (6940) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - APR 12, 2017

Absolute chicken soup here with a medium-sized, beige head showing moderate retention.
Moving past the ridiculous appearance, the nose shows fresh pineapple juice, rich honey from the malt and a very fruity hop profile of tangerine, red grapefruit and some (thankfully) more austere, woody, green pine-like notes (not resinous). The lactose combines with the pineapple to add an almost coconut-like character to the nose and it finishes with long, juicy pineapple notes mixed with the rich honey.
In the mouth it’s sweet and juicy up front but quickly becomes balanced by light lactic notes and a fresh, green, spicy hop character. Low but tight carbonation helps focus the bitterness and I think fully balances the beer. Definitely sweet and juicy up front but very well-balanced with really interesting tropical fruit flavors, as well as more classic IPA flavors throughout. Much better than any Tired Hands Milkshake I’ve ever had....
A- Pineapple, mild bitterness, slightly sweet.
A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head.
T- Bitter, piney, citrus.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish.
O- Definitely not milkshake like. I figured it would be a lot creamier and fruitier and sweeter. Like the Omnipollo/Tired Hands Strawberry Milkshake IPA, this fails to deliver what the mind expects. Basically another IPA, not too special.

Bottle, from Bottle Revolution RDU. Good aroma, sweet. Pineapple, mild milky streak. Tad hazed golden orange color. Ok head and lace. Fairly sweet mildly bitter flavor. Medium body, light creamy mouthfeel fairly sweet little bitter finish. Well, better than expected. A lot of pineapple mild sugary sweetness. Drinking easy, as long as you like a sweet brew. Pours a pale straw color with a small &quickly descending head.
The aroma is herbal & fruity hops, certainly some pineapple character.
The flavor is fairly bitter but not out of control. Fairly sweet but not in a caramel like way (thankfully) clean with a nice fruit forward hop character.
Bottle from Milk and Hops, Chelsea. Pours hazed gold, bright white head, light, spotty lace. Aroma is grapefruit zest, lactose, and citrus juice. Flavor is along the same lines. Plenty of sweetness, but with a plus amount of rind style bitterness as well. Nice beer, bit of a gimmicky one that I wouldn’t want more than one bottle this size of in a night, but still, one I rather enjoyed. kchampagne (173) - Jacksonville, Florida, USA - JAN 12, 2017
Poured from the bottle an opaque golden color with a white head. Aroma is undoubtedly pineapple, tropical fruit, and a blend of sweet and bitter. Taste is like fresh squeezed pineapple juice mixed with a sweet cream. Mouthfeel obviously isn’t thick like an actual milkshake, but it does have a sort of slickness to it. Pretty interesting take. Very enjoyable and easy to drink. I should take this to the beach and put on my best Hawaiian shirt. sonnycheeba (6539) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 30, 2016
Tap. Pours hazy gold. Aroma and flavor are pale malt, wheat, pineapple, lactose, floral notes, and faint mango. Medium body.
