Cask conditioned at The Lord Clifden, Hockley, Birmingham. Gold with white head. Decent session type bitter, grainy, malty, fresh on the palate with a creamy hint. Nice closing bitterness. Much better than a previous beer I had from this brewery. fonefan (49399) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JUN 28, 2010

Cask (handpump) @ Lord Clifden, 34 Great Hampton Street, Birmingham, West Midlands England B18 6AA.
Clear medium amber orange color with a average, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, light roasted and caramel, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, licorice. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Cask. Pours an almost clear amber golden with a dense off-white head leaving a little lacing. Sweetish and lightly perfumy nose. Light body, notes of nuts and licorice. Nice alright - not quite like Syd! 160110
