Gift from SJ. WHat I enjoyed about this one was the nice, but typical, clove, wheat, bread and wet flavors. Good.

Thanks Gabriel for this bottle! Pours a hazy dull gold color with a nice off white head. Smells of banana, mild spice, circus peanut candies. Taste initially follows the smell with some really fruitiness (actually slightly sour) in the middle ending with the circus peanut flavor on the tongue and a little dryness at the very end. The palate is decent, nice carbonation, a little oily maybe on the low side of medium. This one has some potential but the flavor is off a bit with the sourness in the fruit flavor.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and its not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Faszinierend!

Dark blonde colour, small head. Aroma has some sweetness, like honey, peaches and maybe some banana. Medium bodied, affordable one.

Bottle, bought @ Riepen, Niebll.
Clear golden with a small, fizzy, off-white head. Disappears very fast. Aroma has citrus, light banana, some grapes. Highish carbonation, quite thin and watery. Flavour has mild banana, some grapes, light apple peel. A bit of grainy wheat and some mild grassy bitterness to the end. Average.

Bottle: Hazy, deep golden, small to medium-sized fluffy off-white head, distinctive sourish-fruity and yeasty nose, delicate caramelly base; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, nearly medium bodied, quite soft MF; lingering caramelly and fruity-sourish finish. Quite good.....

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2011 500ml bottle. Mindestens haltbar bis: 14.04.12. It pours an archetypal hefe-weien color with a nice bit of cloudiness and an eggshell-white head. The head sticks for a bit and recedes with some nice lacing. The smell is utterly different from a normal hefeweizen. It smells more like champagne than clovey and lemony. There is some sweet banana and caramel in the mix too. Ill rate it higher for uniqueness, it does smell good regardless. The mouthfeel is rather flat which is the first downfall of this brew. The second is the flavor, definitely dominated by Sekthefe. It is a bit spicy but overall it tastes very light and tame, maybe this is what they were going for that but I dont enjoy it.

Dezent suerlicher Geruch. Test vom 30.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,7,8,7,11,7 - 7,55

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Very hazy deep golden color. Sweet and strongly spicy aroma with weird yogurt note. Bready, spicy and slightly sour flavor with clove, pepper and yogurt. Very special taste with yogurt like lactic sourness. I like yogurt but I find spiciness and lactic sourness contradicting.
