500ml can. Pours a clear gold-orange with a medium, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces. Mild aroma of caramel malt, corn, bread and faint apple. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, apple, grain, honey and alcohol in a metallic, bitter grass finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation.

Can. The following is a compilation of a dozen peoples’ thoughts who shared this brew with me at my first (and perhaps last?) Malt Liquor Dexterity Games Tournament to celebrate my birthday. Keeping in mind that most of the participants are not regular beer raters, here we go: medium gold, sweet golden syrup, copper shavings, not as bad as most tonight thank God, go Slovakia!, quite terrible, why is this not 16%? Atlas 16 is 16% try harder Slovak Republic, please revoke my exclusive membership I will not be returning, turrbl.

waldbraeu (17) - - FEB 7, 2017
strong aroma on first sip, light body, heavy finish with strong bitterness and hoppy flavors. Quite strong but quaff-able. tastes like a whole lot of saazer hops that pairs with a skinny strong beer.

Lore (2661) - Budapest, HUNGARY - FEB 5, 2017
beautiful appearance of crystal clear darker golden colour and one inch dense white head; aroma of grains, some grassy and buttery notes, taste is the same with sweetness and alcohol; despite its perfect appearance, I’m not amazed at all

500 ml bottle. Huge, white foam, smell a little empty. Taste is warm alcohol, sweet malt, maybe bread and only a hint of medicinal hop. Not a big hit.
