From a bomber. Pours an orange-gold and makes a thin white head. Aroma is of yeasty, malt, lemon, and hops. It's a double, so there's a decent malty backbone to this ale, but the initial impression is that of piney, citrusy, hops. I like it. It is unique, but also stays within the double IPA lines of the style.

Bomber. Dank pine resiny hop aroma with notes of grapefruit citrus and tropical mango hop flavors. Pours clear caramel colored with half a finger of off white head that has good retention and excellent lacing. Starts with bright grapefruit hop citrus with mango notes. Finishes very dry with dank pine resiny hop bitterness that lingers on the palate long after each sip. Very nice double IPA. Cwrw42 (51) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 18, 2015

Sampled from 22 oz bottle in pint glass.
Appearance: pours a thick, frothy off white head that drops very slowly with abundant lacing. Color is clear amber with moderate streaming carbonation.
Aroma: citrus and pine dominate with some bread dough.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied and sticky, resinous with a lingering, astringent finish.
Flavor: grapefruit and tropical flavors along with pine. Plenty of hop oil. Some malty backbone sweetness helps to balance the brew.
Overall: well done to the style. slowrunner77 (12895) - Reno, Nevada, USA - JUL 23, 2015
A tropical fruit and citrus forward sweet thivk IIPA.
Disclaimer: the dated had partially rubbed off, but I could clearly still see 2014. That means at the very least this beer was 8 months old, probably more. For it to be this enjoyable at an age where most of my very favorite hoppy beers would have faded to crap in a bottle is intriguing to me. Needless to say I’d love to try fresh, as this old ass bottle was still pretty enjoyable. Concealer (1269) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 11, 2015
