Pours dark with an average head. The aromas are complex, which surprises me for a fairly mainstream beer (according to those I was drinking it with). Malts, a bit of burnt sugar and coffee-like notes appear in them. The flavour profile is better than many other Schwartzbier, caramel comes in very well balanced, with a nice palate too. Dark beer with standar carbonation, brown head that dissipate quickly, at nose there are several yeasty notes that overcome on the expected malt ones, the flavor is quite good, lots of coffee and nuts flavours with a mild bitterness, but the overall balance is just ok. The aftertaste is quite metallic revealing the yeast again. gopherfan99 (1831) - Minnesota, USA - APR 16, 2016
Can; pours dark brown with a beige head; sweet aroma with caramel, roast malt, yeast, and a hint of ash; taste is sweet with some caramel, yeast, chocolate, and light roast malt; finish is slightly sweet with a hint of bitterness; not bad arkanu (52) - Iasi, ROMANIA - APR 15, 2016
Along with Silva Bruna, one of the most solid commercial beers to be found in Romania. Pours a dense, dark colour with big, frothy light brown head that lingers for some time. Taste is full of coffee and a slight hint of caramel, walnuts and roasted malt. The alcohol could have been better masked and it will give you an awful hangover if you abuse it :) midovark (938) - Balassagyarmat, HUNGARY - MAR 20, 2016
0.5 l can. Very slight malty coffee aroma from the black colored liquid topped with beige head. The taste is similar roasted malts and hints of coffee but very watery, the finishing is short as well. Softly carbonated, light bodied. FlaviusD (4) - ROMANIA - MAR 11, 2016 does not count
Not a good beer. Actually, not even a beer, considering the crappy ingredients used and the added ethylic alcohol, enzymes and additives.
