3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma: Sourish, almost white wine-like. Funky, apple peel and pear flesh – very fruity. Fresh hops, but not as protruding as expected. Spicy yeast, overall very Belgian. Slightly fiery and with vague hints of earht armagnac and black cherries.
Flavour: Sweet, profoundly malty, slightly roasted (off given its colour). Some hop bitterness is discernable, making it slightly more drinkable than the average superfruity belgian ale. Overall extremely fruity.
Appearance: Light yellow with a fine-bubbled white head. Slightly frothy but thin.
Palate: Fizzy, quite thick, as though there were pearjuice in it.
Appearance-amber, cloudy, minimal head,
Taste-medium sourness, medium bitterness, light sweetness,
Palate-medium body, sticky, lively, long finish,
Overall-very good 19Oracolo78 (225) - ITALY - OCT 6, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 6, 2017 Birra dal colore dorato. Schiuma bianca fine e persistente.

All in all a hop bomb, still light and an awesome amount of aroma Maits (580) - ESTONIA - JUL 27, 2017
Clear dark amber beer with nice big head. Aroma is enjoyable yeast, fruits and spicy. Taste is a little boozy, otherwise good light sweet and bitter. Full body. Overall nice warming strong beer. Bacchus66 (940) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 26, 2017
330ml bottle @ home. Clear copper pour (other than the suspended yeast flakes - oops) with a thin off white head that fades away to nothing. Bug boozy nose with yeast, malt, bourbon notes. Flavors are sweet malt, barrel, burnt sugar, caramel, decent hops presence though less than expected (old bottle). Long warming finish.

200517. Bottle from Cellarbrations in Fitzroy. Pre- GABS beer – not that I needed it mind you, but glad that I had it. This is one of the best and strongest Belgian beers that I have had in a long time. Vibrant egg yolk colour with a soft beige head. Alcohol fumes come off the glass and assault the nose leaving you desperately wanting to take the first sip. Big and creamy in the mouth with a hit of alcohol that could easily knock you around. Treat this beer with the respect that it deserves.

Frutti bianchi, resinoso, lavanda. Poi discreto velluto, alcolico, ancora frutta bianca, malto, erba, lavanda, delicatissimo mielato. Palato notevole, finale dolce e lievemente acidulo e astringente. Echon (564) - Århus, DENMARK - JUN 10, 2017
Amber. Discreet aroma with mild hops and yeasty spice. Powerful, sweetish taste, with light kandis sugar and phenolic spices. Quite bitter and warming finish. Medium body. Overall, a good pale strong ale. Rather powerful and bitter. The additional hops assert themselves in the finish, so this is not a belgian IPA in my opinion.
