Pours a cloudy amber color with a thin white head. Interesting aroma of oranges and leather. Good flavor of oranges, yeast and leather, sadly, there seems to be traces of a mild oxydation, it feels like wet cardboard but it’s not a dominating element.. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and soft carbonation. Not bad but this could be the weak link in the Urthel chain.

Wim (4066) - Weelde, BELGIUM - JUL 11, 2007
amber coloured with light cabonation body and a off white head and a spicy hoppy aroma a sweet bitter taste and a light bitter alcoholic finich

bottle. Hazy amber, with a moderate sized off-white head. Aroma of malt, spive, yeast and some hops. Sweet toffee flavor, with some dried fruit and pepper in the finish. Finishes sweet. Interesting.

Bottle at home. Another wonderful Urthel ale. Strong head, orange creamy colour. Citrusy aroma. Sweet, fruity and citrusy flavours. Generous mouthfeel, really enjoyable to drink.

duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2007
Bottle. Typical Belgian strong, yeasty and alcoholic. This also had some sweet caramel and also citrus in the finish. Lighttly floral. Not so bad.

A Mes rate: Bottle at Chrisfest. Just can’t get into this brewery at all. They are all way too carbed for me. Very sweet and matly beer lacking in finesse.

SilkTork (5763) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - APR 11, 2007
ChrisFest Creamy carbonation. Sweet. Rather thin.. Malty with a bitter twist. Run of the mill beer. Undistinguished.

maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2007
Bottled at Chris_O Fest March 2007. A very hazy light brown coloured beer. The aroma is yeasty with spicy hop notes also. The taste is spicy and yeasty with good hits of alcohol. Too much carbonation. An OK beer but no more.

DewBrewer (295) - Austin, Texas, USA - FEB 23, 2007
75cL bottle, aged for two years. Orange-amber color with a most incredible head and lacing. Caramel, sweet aroma, Caramel flavors mix in well with the bitterness to make a very drinkable potion. Creamy texture. The carbonation delivers yeasty and sweet aromas but does not deter one from taking generous swallows.

FezMonkey (268) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - FEB 19, 2007
Hazy amber color with a large head. Fruity aroma and taste but leaves a bitter grapefruit flavor I don’t like.
