(bottle) Hazy orange-amber colour with a giant rocky foamy off-white head. Slightly sweet toast-malty and delicate fruity aroma with liquorice and distinctive herbal, resiny hoppy notes. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, lively carbonation. Toast-malty, yeasty fruity (citrus, red berries) taste; lasting malty finish with a blend of herbal hops. The alcohol is well integraded. Lightly hazed orange ale with a thick creamy off white head. In aroma, grapefruit pulp, oxidized malt, same cave notes. In mouth, a murkey maderized malt with light honey notes. A bit of orange peels develop as beer warms up. Medium bodied. Shared with Beerbuzzmtl. Merci Denis. maxbeer (118) - ITALY - NOV 5, 2006
A bit spicy in aroma and taste; subtle chocolate notes. Body is a bit thin. Sligthly sour and a bit too yasty for my taste leaparsons (10692) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2006
Bottle. Amber with a large fluffy head and yeast floaties. Aromas are banana, yeast and spices with caramel and hints of citrus. Flavours are yeasty with bitter lemon and spices. Light caramel malts with a dry, bitter finish. Great "foam in the mouth" palate. Very good. reakt (950) - Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 23, 2006

Bottle. Brown-amber colour with an average off-white head and some carbonation. Sweeter yeasty aroma, light fruity, raisins, roasted caramel. Full body, some light sprankling. Finish is light bitter, with some very light sweet-alcoholic touches. jpm30 (1587) - East Central, Georgia, USA - AUG 25, 2006
From a caged corked 750 ml. bottle with a coded bottled date on the back label, sampled at a cellar temperature in a chalice.
Poured a cloudy orange hued amber with a foamy, bubbly topped off-white head that settled into a thin sudsy lacing.
Aromas of tropical fruits and apples, clove and spice, very herbal and a sweet, lightly grainy maltiness.
Good carbonation and a crisp, softly dry and tart, smooth carbonated light bodied mouthfeel.
Pleasant tasting and quaffable, good drinkability, clove and musty yeast, banana and pineapple tart fruitiness, hop spicy and herbal, soft in it’s bitterness, doesn’t interfere with the malty crispness, the alcohol becomes noticeable towards the end, ends warming in the palate, and a dry yeasty, herbal and sweet malty finish.
A good strong ale from Urthel, tasty and balanced, the right of carbonation and body for the style, well worth trying.

Decent brew. JayBaxter (407) - Greater Manchester, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - JUL 16, 2006
Nice cloudy amber colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is caramely and toffee like with a slight hoppy malty taste.
