30 cL bottle. Pours golden deep hazzlenut brown with a quickly disappearing tan head. Dense malty aroma, nicely roasted and towards breadish. Flavour is rather sweet at first with a more breadish malt flavour following. Has a strange metallic off-note to the malt flavours. Ends bitter and a again with that same metallic and alcohol note.

Ungstrup (37685) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 25, 2003
A deep red beer with a beutiful beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of grain and yeast. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of nuts, caramel, hop oils combined with a slight acidicness. It has a good bitterness, that turns prickling in the end. A really nice tasting beer.

Bottled (from Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam). Amber colour, small beigeish brown colour. Aroma is caramel, spices and mild notes of medicine. Flavour is quite much the same along with some raisins and also something like wet smoked wood or something like that.

(Bottle 30 cl) Dark amber coloured beer with floating impurities. Nice, creamy and lacing head. Nice notes of dark, roasted malt with hints of caramel and a bitter finish to even things out. I have no idea why this is typecasted as a Flemish Sour, this is just a Bock - but a good one. 020304
