Clear medium to dark amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to light heavy medicine, light notes of raisin and prines, notes of peat - smoke. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
30 cL bottle. Pours golden deep hazzlenut brown with a quickly disappearing tan head. Dense malty aroma, nicely roasted and towards breadish. Flavour is rather sweet at first with a more breadish malt flavour following. Has a strange metallic off-note to the malt flavours. Ends bitter and a again with that same metallic and alcohol note. A deep red beer with a beutiful beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of grain and yeast. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of nuts, caramel, hop oils combined with a slight acidicness. It has a good bitterness, that turns prickling in the end. A really nice tasting beer. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - MAR 3, 2009

(Bottle 30 cl) Dark amber coloured beer with floating impurities. Nice, creamy and lacing head. Nice notes of dark, roasted malt with hints of caramel and a bitter finish to even things out. I have no idea why this is typecasted as a Flemish Sour, this is just a Bock - but a good one. 020304 cgarvieuk (24548) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 10, 2007
