Drinking from a 33 cl bottle. In the aroma nothing special. The clear golden beer has a medium white head. In the taste mainly bitterness. A bit watery. Medium carbonated.

Bottle thanks to ShivanDragon. Clear amber with off white head. Light caramel and sweet malts, some dried apricot, white grapes, light dust, bit of cardboard and wood, faint yoghurt. Some bitter herbs and hay in the finish. Under medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied with oily and slight dry feel.

Bottle at home. Aroma is sweetish bready malt, straw, touch of caramel, slight dried fruity notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Lots of sweet malts, a bit too much for my taste.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam,18 Feb 2016) Dark amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with orange peel, marmalade and black-currant. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of caramel, orange peel, roasted cereal, dried apricots and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Quite tasty and well balanced, but it’s hardly a dunkel (possibly an amber lager/vienna). Quite enjoyable.

Lijkt een beetje op de bok maar dan slapper. Typisch karamelsmaakje, licht toffeeachtig. Drinkt makkelijk weg maar niet echt best bier.

Bottle. Honeyish, caramelly, sweet, with notes of raisins. Reasonably full bodied. Mediocre.

Fris helder zoetig citrus aroma. Mooi helder donker met een kleine schuimkraag die snel weg trekt. Zacht donker bier weinig diepgang maar dringt zich makkelijk weg. Niks bijzonders.

Dark amber coloured beer with off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt. Taste of caramel, candied sugar and something spicy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
