Bottled. Amber coloured, big beige foamy head. Aroma is fruitish hoppy. Typical bitter, strong hopped flavour with some hints off fruits. Hoppy finish with some weak hints of fruits in aftertaste. A bit paperish in the finish too. Nothing that special...

500 ml bottle. Clear coppery brown. Average head. Distinct aroma of rich specialty malts and English ale yeast. Characterful grassy hop aroma. Flavour is very rich. Fruity. Toasted and slightly burnt malts. Light bitterness. Dry aftertaste from the hops.

Copper-coloured with rich, creamy beige head that laces nicely. Floral and malty aroma. Caramel sweetness meets refreshing hop bitterness, developing into a very dry finish.

Ingevara (910) - SWEDEN - AUG 25, 2005
A brown ale with a small head but lots and lots of flavors, and a deep lingering aroma. There are plenty of hops that enhance a very round and enjoyable bitterness. Not very sweet, but lots of bubbles. An excellent beer to enjoy at any occasion.

johndoughty (5521) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 12, 2005
Bottled. A brownish bitter, quite highly carbonated. Some hoppiness but a fairly mundane bitter-cant really be called extra special.

Dark amber colored with a disappearing off-white head. Quite heavy sweet malty and spicy aroma with cookie notes. Malt and spices in the flavor as well, typical English though more flavorfull than the average English ale.

A brown beer with a disappearing beige head. The aroma is very hoppy (goldings) combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is dry with notes of roasted malt, caramel, and hops.
