At the darker end of the English Bitter scale, Looks good in the glass, amber red, with an off white head. Lovely rounded flavour. Quite fruity rather than astringent, perhaps a little thin and light, or perhaps the deep colour leads you to expect a heavier, more full-bodied beer. Still, nice ale.

Bottle 500ml. Nice malty bitter. Aromas of caramel, nuts, and apricot. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and good length. Palate is oily, and medium bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.

12.12.2010. 0,5l Bottle Labeled Ushers Founders English ale. Golden brown colour with white head. Malty aroma with nice smooth bitterness. I had this one a little to warm. I think it would have been better a little cooler.

A bit hazy whiskey red brownish colour. Off white head. Thick malty aroma, fruit. Taste is malty but bitter with hints of fruit. The body is a bit weak and the beer ends a bit watery. Very little carboration. But its a totally allright bitter.

500ml [email protected] in MS Gabriella, Viking Line - 15/0/2010. Hazy dark coppery colored Ale with a little white head. Aroma contained apple, lightly roasted barley and a slighly citrussy finish. Flavor was sour apple and dryish and citrussy dry hoppy finish. Palate was light+, quite fresh and crispy highly carbonated. Quite surprisingly sour English Ale with some character. Didn’t still quite suit me.
