Bottled. Copper coloured with white foamy head. Caramellish malty nose along with hops. Hoppy flavour along with a bit caramelly hints. Quite dry and a bit sticky palate. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 12, 2005
Ruby red colour with a small off white head. Malty and sweet aroma with hints of cherry and marzipan. Sweet cherry flavor with notes of marzipan. NosirIwont (2591) - Husum, DENMARK - JUL 5, 2005
Bottle. Pours a hazy brownish red with an off-white head. Sweet, malty aroma. Flavour is sweet and fruity with notes of alcohol. Well-balanced. Round body. Has a red wine-feeling to it. I find it a bit too sweet, though. OlJuntan64 (1264) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUN 23, 2005
Pours a intruiging slightly oily looking, murky dark almost opaque amber colour with a fine bubbled medium size shortish lasting beige head. Aroma is mainly fruity malt with a hint of something medicinal. Palate is smooth and medium bodied, slightly cloying with low carbonation. Flavour is medium strong molasses and generic cola sweet toated grainy malt. The bitterness seems added on like an afterthought appearing late in the finish as an over roasted almost burnt malt with little to none hop bitterness. sayravai (4711) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 19, 2005
(Bottled) Dark, brownish red with a smallish, tanned head. Mild, fruity and caramely aroma. Sweetish, caramely and toffeeish flavor with pine, anise and low, lingering bitterness. Medium-bodied, sticky-syrupy and low-carbonated palate. A quite enjoyable, smooth and balanced, spicy ale, but nothing very special. Feels more like a dessert drink than a substitute for red wine.

Bottle. Amber colour with a small baige head. Malty chocolat aroma and a sweet malty light hoppy taste. Medium body and a sweet light dry finish. mutant (854) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAY 27, 2005
Opaque ruby rd colour (duh) with a good, lasting creamy head. Big fruity and vinuous aroma. Flavour is both malty and hoppy, so i guess it’s well balanced. Texture is quite thick. There is a bit of alcohol in the finish. Dangerously drinkable. turbothy (1141) - Bonn, GERMANY - MAY 21, 2005
Pours reddish amber with little or no head at all. Aroma is sweet and earthy, mouthfeel is a bit thin and the taste, while not very big, is pleasant and vinous. Dalle (1145) - Skørping, DENMARK - MAY 16, 2005
