Bottled: Ruby red coloured. Clear. Dark beige medium sized head. Spicy and very vineous aroma. Flavour is spicy and hoppy with some fruit notes. Is citric and bitter in the end. screwball (1099) - Motala, SWEDEN - JUN 15, 2004
Red and brown color. A little brownish head. Aroma from hops and a sweet taste. SilkTork (5855) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - NOV 19, 2003
Bottled. Pasteurised. This was drunk in two parts. I started it last night, and I was thoroughly enjoying it, when I fell ill. My last words as I staggered upstairs to the toilet were "Save that beer in the fridge for me." And now I'm finishing it off. Of course, the oxidised flavours of a pastuerised beer are more apparant the next day when all the fizz has gone, but the firm mouthfeel, and the sultana fruits and brown sugar are still there. I should imagine this would be excellent in the cask. larsniclas (7217) - Billdal, SWEDEN - OCT 26, 2003
Aroma from toffee and wood.
Soft, vinous palate.
Flavour from toffee and chocolate with a distinct alcoholfeel.

Red-brown color, a nice thick head. Aroma is fruity. Tastes of carmael, maybe some kind of fruity caramel. Some bitterness in the finish. A little different but a rather nice ale. imdownthepub (15333) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 19, 2003
Bottled, Pasteurised. Deep ruby red beer with close knit head. Malt and smooth wine flavours predominate, maybe a little apply cider characterisic. Autumn fruits come through. A well constructed beer but possibly no longer available? ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 15, 2003
Amber coloured. Aroma is pretty fruity with some english hops. Taste: Very , very good, loads of flavours, some sweet malt with some alcoholic sweetnes with a very grassy and oily hop bitterness. Sweet vinous finish. Sigmund (7918) - Tau, NORWAY - JUL 7, 2003
(500 ml bottle). Ruby (rather: reddish brown) colour, very low head. Vinous aroma, full malty flavour, slightly alcoholic, good bitterness. Despite it being called a "table beer" (with robust foods) by the brewers, I would rather call it a typical "sipping beer". Recommended. rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 29, 2003
Amber color. White diminishing head. Hoppy caramel aroma. Caramel flavor. Notes of licorice in the flavor, truly malty.
