An English Strong Ale made with great efforts regarding to the quality of malt and hops. Already in the nose you can feel the complexity of this dark amber beverage, made for gods ! NB I don´t work at the brewery. When this fullbodied ale hits your tongue and palate with full impact, you are a fan !
All the bitterness of Englands best hopfields, concentrated in one bottle. lassewan (44) - Borlänge, SWEDEN - JAN 26, 2002
Sweet and malty, with fruitiness. Dry with a lot off aftertaste. Beatiful brownish colour. Brisbane (24) - SWEDEN - MAR 14, 2003
Nectarous. Cherry aftertaste. Syrupy aroma, even some smokiness. This is one of the best ales I've had on bottle, but it's a bit too sickeningly sweet to drink a whole bottle. marking (20) - DENMARK - FEB 16, 2003
The first time I tasted this ale it was like a new chapter in my beerdrinking:
so full of malt and hops was hard to find where i live in those days. But beware: there is an Ushers white ale and an Ushers ruby ale too, but they don´t play in the same league.

This is one of my best experiences, only second to sex! What a bitter aroma and the flowers in the nose combined with all those fruity hops, excellent!
