From old tasting notes. Clear brassy gold color with small white head capping scattered small bubbles. Grape-like grainy malt aroma. Light grainy malt flavor with light carbonation. Bland finish and a very faint hop aftertaste. Thin and watery. ozzy70 (1283) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUL 3, 2017
12 oz. can from College Liquors in Grand Junction Co. Consumed while camping in Grand Junction. Poured clear golden, small white head. Aroma was grain, light grass. Taste was mild sweet, grain, corn, grass. bnokk (545) - Lee, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 6, 2016
Super light yellow. Very clear and light head with good effervescent effects.
NOSE- very light scent, even for a pils. Limited crispness that the best pils beers have.
FLAVOR- extremely light in flavor. Unfortunately almost tastes like watered down beer. (For real.)
Touted as the first beer sold in the US after prohibition. That’s cool - it’s a pioneer. It was onward and upward from there. freekyp (2408) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - FEB 9, 2016
First the good. Pours a clear light golden with a one finger white head that leaves some scattered lacing. A small bit of grassy hops ride atop the otherwise corny adjunct aroma. Finishes crisply with a bit of hop bite. Has some old man beer vintage coolness factor. Now the bad. Some vegetal off flavors. Lots of corny lameness throughout. Pours a clear bright piss yellow with a white foamy head. Aroma is fresh grain, fresh grist, light honey, metallic twang. Taste is lemon, honey, metallic clang. Dry, papery, body. Straight up suds!

Can: Beany grass nose. Crystal clear yellow, thick head with very little retention. Fusel alcohol, barley malt. Weak. Light body, easy carbonation. Uticabeer11 (1) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 7, 2015 does not count
Clean crisp, some off smells but not enough to distract from a clear pure taste
Hop aroma is there, a small amount of bitter but does not last weihenweizen (4098) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - OCT 30, 2015
On tap at PNP Charleston. Clear pale yellow with small white head. Aroma is corn, light body, low carbonation, and no lacing. Taste is corny. Just like I thought it would be. geologyguy (1661) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - SEP 4, 2015
Light refreshing smell, taste is full flavor and significant mouthfeel, good beer! Better than the run of the mill low enders! Sammer (1119) - Plano, Texas, USA - AUG 11, 2015
Golden pour from a can. This one is not as bad as most make it sound. It just is what it is. Describe it however you want, it is still a Pale Ale.
