Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready, mildly rubbery along with some rice and mild grains. Flavour is wooden, grassy, grainy and mildly earthy.
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2012 Bottled. Lightly hazy golden, small head. Dough and grass. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Some hay and grass. Mid bitter finish.
Cloudy golden, small head. Overpowering offputting stale cellar aroma with powerful notes of diacetyl and butyric acid. Sweet and soapy with old Soviet style unclean flavour. The malt profile however is soft and would be pleasant if it wasn’t for the full array of brewing faults that completely dominates this beer. Very aggresive and oily. Too bad that the one Latvian brewer I’ve tried that seems to have any ambition also seem to have sever quality issues (1/4/2/2/4 - 1.3). Travlr (24755) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUL 21, 2017

Slightly hazy golden colour. Odd toasty, malty, grainy aroma. Smooth shortcakey malt flavour. Soft herbal hoppiness carries things forward. Clean, gentle, subtle. TBone (17530) - Pori, FINLAND - JAN 27, 2005

Golden, a bit hazy, white small head, lace. Very light grassy aroma. Malty, carbonated mouthfeel, sweetish with not much of hops. Typical East European lager. This is drinkable one.

Hazy light orange, small light head. Hoppy and malty - light grains. Very sessionable and pretty tasty. Very good for a light lager - a style I usually sneer at. (5:3:5:3:11=2.7)

Really fresh. So much more grainy than I remember. Smooth palate, lots of light grains in the finish. Delicious fresh.
