on tap at l'air du temps, qc. clear bright red pour, almost purple, with a small bubbly pinkish cap offering minimal retention and lacing. fresh berries, concord grape-like fruitiness, old yogurt, some peppery wheat, clean lacto yeast. moderate carbonation, light body - thin and kind of watery; dry, chalky and softly tart fruity-herbal finish. textbook berliner with a slightly odd/fun grape-like fruitiness.
A burgundy red Berliner Weisse with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light dark berries, cherries, lactic acid notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light tartness, light dark cherry, light mineral notes, a bit thin but good. On tap at L'autre oeil.
