4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Presentation: Stubby 11.2 oz. brown bottle, served in an oversized wine glass.
Appearance: Cloudy, pale gold color. Develops a two finger bright white head that goes down but remains all the way to the end. It leaves some great lacing.
Smell: The scent is sweet, fruity, mainly banana. There’s some nice herbal and malt notes, as well as some yeast in the background.
Taste: A fruit flavor is dominant. It has spice and herbal flavors that make for a very complex and appealing package. There’s alcohol and a tiny malt sweetness at the end, with some bitterness to balance everything out.
Mouthfeel: It’s smooth, creamy and medium bodied. It has mildly high carbonation that’s not overwhelming but still present.
Overall: Very drinkable and complex. It has a lot of flavors and scents, but also a simple sweetness, balanced perfectly by a hint of bitterness and an alcoholic character, that just make it a great beer.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cloudy golden with a huge white head. Aroma is dominated by yeasty notes, along with a bit of spice, zest and honey as well as some barnyard and vinegar notes. Fairly sour although sweetness still plays the top note, finishes with a light zesty bitterness. High carbonation, light body, slightly milky texture, very drinkable. Refreshing but too yeasty.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Trappist glass; from the fridge.
Very refreshing Abbey Ale. Really good.
It’s maybe not the beer with the special taste you are looking for, but it has that "true taste" that will be enjoyed by all.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at home. Hazy light golden with fluffy white head. Sweet grains, paper, soft yeast, lemon, weird metallic bitter notes, light nectarine, dough, sweet biscuits. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with strong carbonation. Decent beer, though the metallic finish is a bit disappointing.
