Bottle. Poured a hazy amber with a small particles of yeast sediment floating throughout with an average size white frothy head and had excellent lacing. The aroma had a strong scent of a flowery hops, light grainy malts and a mild soapy yeast odor with notes of citrus. It tasted moderatley bitter and slightly acidic at first then mellowed into a smooth bitter yeasty flavor with notes of citrus that lingered on the palate for a nice while. Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a nice lively carbonation. Overall an outstanding Abbey ale.

Wazig blond bier met wit schuim. Geur: Niet uitgesproken frisse geur van bloemen, mout, granen, ietwat gist. Smaak: moutzoet, licht bitter en licht fruitig. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: licht bitter.

Bottle at home. Golden color, white foam. Taste is not as strong and good as (one of my favourites) Leffe Blond, but a nice beer to start with this afternoon...

From Optimus Beer. In Val-Dieu glass. Playing A Foretold Affair. Pear and clove yeasty esters. Very smooth, so much that it feels a bit bad, too watery. Alcohol well hidden and low bitterness. Too foamy

330ml bottle. Minimally milky, brass colour with small, frothy, hafl-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, grainy and slightly alcoholic aroma, grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is dry, leafy, grassy and minimally floral hoppy, yeasty, pale malty basis, a fruity touch of unripe yellow stone fruit. Dry and well hopped, the nose leads on a wrong path.

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2017 Very precise and balanced. Clean flavours. Lemon, bread, yeast, subtle coriander seed notes. Lots of foam.
