COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The new masterpiece from the Val-Dieu brewery. A very complex and full-bodied beer with a long aftertaste. The brewmaster advices to cellar the beer for a year for it to unfold its full potential.

(75 cl bottle) Dark brown, unclear, beige head. Aroma of raisins, prunes, caramel, molasses, spices. Taste is heavily sweet, low bitterness. Full-bodied. Sticky. Certainly a good beer, but a bit to sweet and heavy for me.

At a tasting, thanks, smallish bubbly head, murky dark brown color, aroma of cake with a whiff of alcohol, dark bread and stale notes, flavor of yeast, vanila ,glue, oxidised, minerals and caramel. Not good, probably old.

Traumstoff!

A nice grand cru, classic Belgian. Pours a nice red-brown with a tan head. Smells good, malty and herby. Taste is Belgian, with herbs, Malts and fruit. Had in the bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Oakes (17643) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 23, 2017
Chestnut brown, with a big, even head. Deep, dark fruitiness on the nose - fig, cherry, toffee, raisin. On the palate, soft and smooth, with rich dark fruitiness and soft, sweet sugars, cut by just a touch of alcohol. Big and complex, but smooth, creamy and balanced. Yum.

4.2
vinivini (2381) - Gomel, BELARUS - MAY 23, 2017
Muddy bronze ale with dense ivory head. Notable lacing. The aroma is fruity. Apple, pear, plum. Caramel. Vinous. Medium to full body. Complex taste. Nice fruit, caramel, candy, spicy yeast. Some hops. Delicious indeed.

4.2
Paladares (229) - Madrid, SPAIN - MAY 19, 2017
Botella. Color marrón oscuro casi negro. Opaca.
