Val-Dieu Triple is the result of a long fermentation, scrupulously followed by the brewmaster. Its deep yet soft bitterness does not interfer with the discovery of its components. The taste of the hop comes through, naturally aromatized, accompanied by an alcoholic after taste. It can be associated with refined dishes and ranks among the great beers. It may be found in the some of the most exclusive restaurants.

Ingredients: Pilsen malt, Saaz and Spalter hops, sugar, live yeast, natural water from the region.

Well-tempered draught near source, B&B Voerenstreek, overly chilled near source. - Mellow like ripe orchard fruit (Land van Herve oblige), apple tarte, with subtle hop accents to create the smooth impression of blossom honey. Poured extremely creamy vanilla slightly chilled on tap, with moderate yeast spice and great fresh aroma character, drying bitterness. Simple and straightforward, it works as an apéritif as well as reliable, smooth-quenching food pairer - which is why I tend to prefer this one to the bottled phenol bomb and jenever-fumed classics.

This is a sweet beer, looking like white wine in the glass and tasting sweet with body. No head. Though sweet, quite enjoyable in small quantities.

.33l bottle at a terras in the winter. Poured a clear golden-orange beer. Aroma; barley, fresh hoppy aroma, citrus and caramel. App. White soapy head and nice colour beer Taste, sweet barley taste with brown sugar/caramel. Pallate: really strong carbonation, too much for me. Overall pretty good tripel, woukd recommend

Odeur de céréale. Beaucoup de mousse. Gout leger de céréale, plutôt sucrée un petit gout métallique au début. Elle est lourde et elle chauffe la gorge.

Corn aroma. Really sweet. Probably added sugar. Hint of a strange metallic state.

On tap. Orange color. Large white head. Aroma yeast, citrus, spiced. Medium full body, lightly carbonated, some alcohol. Complex flavor, mildly sweet, lemon, banana, honey, background of drier hops. This is never my favorite style but this is a good version of it.

Bomber thanks to the Marks’ - this is a tad old due to the nuttiness but no date on bottle. Like with most tripels I can’t describe the flavors. Flat-ish.

[email protected] Pours clear amber with lazing white head. Aroma has grain up front, straw, hay and biscuit. Taste is surprisingly spicy with coriander, yet malty with light bread, biscuit, grain and ends in a semi-sweet fruity finish.
