Val-Dieu Triple is the result of a long fermentation, scrupulously followed by the brewmaster. Its deep yet soft bitterness does not interfer with the discovery of its components. The taste of the hop comes through, naturally aromatized, accompanied by an alcoholic after taste. It can be associated with refined dishes and ranks among the great beers. It may be found in the some of the most exclusive restaurants.

Ingredients: Pilsen malt, Saaz and Spalter hops, sugar, live yeast, natural water from the region.

Tap at Sedona. Pours golden with a small head. Aroma is perfumes, light fruit notes. Flavor is fruit, bubblegum, grass, yeast. Hides the booze well.

A taste from a bottle @ Belgian embassy of Finland. Pours hazy golden with a medium head. Aroma is sweet malts with some yeast. Flavor is sweet malts, yeast, fruits, alcohol and hops. Nice.

A golden beer, a head is big and white. Aroma has fruitness of perries and apples, some spices. Taste has fruitness, perries, low spicyness, also sweetness. Medium bodied, high and sparkling carbonation. Simple. Exactly what could be expected... and this isn't a negative comment.

Bottle from Alko Arkadia, Helsinki. Pours cloudy amber with a huge frothy head on top, takes forever to settle. The aroma features grainy maltiness with fresh citrusy fruitiness and a Belgian style yeast profile; fruity and spicy. Taste is light to medium sweet, predominantly malty and yeasty. Grain, hay, barnyard and ripe fruitiness feature. Some sourness and bitterness balance in the finish. Warming but not boozy. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, low in carbonation. Pleasant slow ale altogether.

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2017 From 0.33 L bottle, pours cloudy, light orange with a withe head. Aroma is yeast, bread, cookies and dough. Taste is spicy and a bit alcoholic, raisins and dried fruit in the finish. Medium to full body, light to average carbonation. Very nice one!
