Bottle. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a large frothy white head that was fully lasting and had excellent lacing. The aroma was heavy of a doughy yeast, a cereal malt and a light flowery hop with notes of citrus and apricot. It tasted sweet and mildly bitter at first and developed into a sweet , smooth and creamy flavor with nice notes of fruit. Mouthfeel was light to medium in body and quite creamy in texture with a very soft carbonation. Overall a very tasty Tripel.
0.33l bottle. Hazy golden body with a huge white head. The aroma starts earthy and floral followed by hay, bread and booze. The taste has notes of bread, spicy hops, hay, booze and some stone fruits. Decent tripel, SudsMcDuff (8382) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - MAY 29, 2017
Love getting into a classic Belgian .. . Gold, great foam .. Easy going mouth .. Looks great .. . Touch dry. Good yeast/dust. Eyes are direct. If I still had my thumbs, they would be erect! Beamer (45) - - MAY 21, 2017
Lekker biertje met een mooie smaak, niet bitter niet te zwaar. Licht zoet. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Amber. Fruity, spicy and yeasty aroma. Yeasty and spicy flavour, and a strong, pungent and moderately sweet taste that finishes dry, lightly bitter and somewhat boozy. Medium body, high prickly carbonation, and a soft mouthfeel. Overall, a good tripel. Powerful, but a little too yeasty and boozy. stupre (320) - Nanterre, FRANCE - MAY 6, 2017
On tap @ la fête de la bière à Verzenay. Belle robe dorée. Une abbaye très fruitée. bel équilibre sans trop de présence alcoolique.

Bottle from the abbey. Hazy gold, big head. Sweet butterscotch aroma. Strong mineral water base, sweet boozy malt taste. Complex honey crackers, stone mineral water and delightful booziness. Really enjoyable. dcmchew (89) - Bucharest, ROMANIA - APR 12, 2017
Misty deep orange, full cap of white foam, recedes slowly, leaves a lot of sticky lacing. White pepper and underripe apricot on the nose. Some honeyed grain, freshly sliced green apple, spicy pear. The taste follows the nose for a second, then it brings some harsh notes to the mix, like alcohol and nail polish. A bit too much, even for the style, and the sweet, grainy/bready maltiness isn’t helping. Hints of pear jam, apple mash, green banana, soft peppery spices and a bit of grassy hop in the finish. The aftertaste has residual sugars, booze and some apple peel. Medium to heavy body, prickly carbonation. It’s quite clumsy, sweet and boozy, with some hot alcohol and some fermenting issues. If they were intented, i guess i can go on a personal note and just say it’s a bit too "crude" for me. vincentvega72 (722) - Terneuzen, NETHERLANDS - APR 5, 2017
