Bottle bought from the brewery shop. Pours black with a thin, extremely rapidly fading light tan head. Aroma is dry, dark chocolate and mild coffee and roast. Gentle carbonation and medium body.

Light black with a reddish glint when held to the light, topped with a lasting head of tan bubbles.
Nose is dried fruits, roast malts, brown bread, biscuit, light spice, charr.
Taste comprises roast malts, toffee, cocoa sprinkle, light spice, dates, liquorice, raisins.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close.

Cask hand pull at the moon under water Watford Jdw. A dark brown coloured pour with ruby red hues and a thin beige head. Aroma is sweet vanilla walnuts, hazelnut, coco powder. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty brown malts, sweet toffee and dried fruits. Palate is medium sweet moderate cask condition . Cask at The Railway, Putney. Black, red hue, small foamy off-white head, thick lacing. Aroma is like cigarette ash in water. Body is medium to light, smooth, soft carbonation. Taste is toffee and roasted nuts up front, light salt, dark bread crusts. Nice level of bitterness. A very drinkable, subtle porter that gets better the more you drink of it.
