Pleasantly hopped, although a bit of an exaggeration to call it a ’hopocalypse’. Some citrus notes as well, good session beer.
Cask Pint – JDW Fest Autumn 2012 - Golden in colour. Fruity; grapefruit and tangerine citrus. Hoppy; grassy and earthy hops. Malty; malty backbone. Moderately bitter citrus fruity hoppy throughout. Decent. (2012-11-12) SilkTork (5738) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2014
Oct/Nov 2012. JDW, Brighton. Mmm. Lovely citric flavours. Delicate and delicious. Malt base is a little too laid back for my taste; however, the hop blend of bittering and fragrant hops works for me. Finn (7547) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 3, 2013
Angel, Angel Islington 5 Nov 12. JDW Festivaløl. Gylden. Lavt skum som fester seg som nivåmerker. God fruktig aroma. Aprikos. Tung fruktig smak. Litt syrlighet i ettersmaken. ManVsBeer (10485) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 3, 2012
Has hopped fruits in both its nose and in its taste, but is a weak textured ale. Rune (12820) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 2, 2012

Playhouse Spoons, Colchester. Clear gold beer, little white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Decent hops - fresh marmalade and bitter peel. A little lemon and a touch of tropical fruits and a pinch of spice. Finishes semi dry with medium bitter linger. Clean and fresh and well hopped. Good stuff!

Flavours are sweet tropical fruit with pineapple and following grapefruit bitterness. Crisp and clean on the palate with a dry, lightly nutty and bitter finish. Very nice.
