Very hazy yellow beet color. Head pathetically goes to a thin densely foamy white ring. Aroma is rich, sugary wheat. On the palate it has nasal opening qualities. Wth? This sucks which is exactly the reason its taking so long to get down.

Schiuma persistente e bianca, colore giallo dorato che da sull’arancio. Aroma di banana, esteri e frumento, aroma non molto pulito ma piacevole. In bocca buon corpo, gasatura leggermente troppo invadente, buona base maltata ma retrogusto non troppo piacevole, sopratutto quando la birra si scalda, che non invoglia alla bevuta successiva.

Une blanche épaisse et très opaque, couleur paille foncée, avec une mousse blanche relativement tenace. Odeurs de bananes, de pain, de gomme balloune. En bouche, elle est étonnamment aqueuse, et plutôt mince. Les goûts de levures allemandes sont là, mais discrets. Elle prend du corps en réchauffant, et est désaltérante, mais un peu trop timide et pas vraiment passionnante. Une hefeweizen de qualité moyenne.

Pours cloudy pale straw yellow. Initial frothy head goes away. Diacetyl/Buttery aroma. Some banana esters in the far background. Buttery Taste! Banana flavor can be picked up with some more doughy flavors. Medium bodied with lots of carbonation on the tongue. I did not enjoy this beer but I suspect that it is old and may have been mistreated as a child. I will get a fresh version and try again. 500ml Bottle, Poured. Yeast roused.

Where Park is average in pilseners, they hit a home run with this weizen. Pours hazy orange/golden with thick, rocky head. Aroma is spot on, banana, clove, bubblegum, wheat. Taste is also there, with nice heavy, silky mouthfeel. Park has a new fan....

Sitôt versée, la mousse s’enfuit sans laisser de trace. Elle est blonde et voilée. Des arômes de banane flambée, de noix grillé et de pâte à pain s’en dégage. Acidulé comme le levain, ou du moins, comme le pain au levain, des soupçons d’épices et de levure, s’organisent pour former un goût. Elle est mince. Dès qu’elle quitte la bouche, plus rien ne reste. Tasted in August 2011. Aroma: Citrus lemon, wheat. Appearance: Hazy white, very long lasting and thick head. Taste: A lot of banana mixed with citrus and honey. Good balance between flavors.
