Bottled. An unclear dark red beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, over ripe fruits, and ginger. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits, prunes, malt, caramel, and a bit of alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish where the over ripe fruits lingers. Thanks Steve. joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 14, 2009

Bottle 65 cl. Pours a cloudy opaque dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt and a little caramel. Rich malty body, caramel, no real feel of all the spices or the honey, but actually very Bock-like. Some alcohol and hops in the finish. Actually not a bad Bock. 130909

Tasted in brewpub 2007 version. This bock pours a medium amber color from the tap. Aroma is malty and sweet with a bunch of spices and herbs. There is also a touch of honey. A medium to full bodied bock. The malts are caramel and sweet, The hops are grapefruity and a touch floral. This is a very aggressively hopped bock. The spices and hops mix really well with the malts. There is a lot going on in this one, the complexity is very high, but it’s a very easy drinking beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
