(10/29/08) Draught sample at the brewery in Stockton (thanks a lot Steve and Mike!). Amber color. Aroma of oak, brett, fruits, malt and caramel. Sweetish-sourish flavor with fruits, biscuit nots, oak and grape notes. Good stuff. SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - NOV 29, 2008
Draught at the Bistro. Amber-orange with a fluffy white head. Vinous, tart aroma, with some caramel sweetness. The flavor was quite acidic, but the huge residual sugars fought it with big caramel and fruit. Full and chewy. I dig the port influence. The acidity balances out what i think would have been an overly cloying beer. AgentSteve (1647) - SF Bay Area, California, USA - NOV 27, 2008
Pours a vivid copper orange with a thin off white head. Huge nose of summer and dried fruits, along with a bit of vinous influence. The flavor is the same, with a creamy mouthfeel.

Draft @ Bistro BA Fest. Pours a dense, bright orange; a bit viscous; thin, off-white head with patchy lacing. Lots of lightly tart vinous notes, pitty red fruits, and some viscous honey; nicely tart and full. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: solid red fruit vinous notes, light tannins and strawberries and mildly tart cherries, some heaviness and pleasant viscosity; nice, chewy, pleasant presence; very mildly hopped; very soft. Medium finish: chewy honey, dried cherries, and some toastiness; nicely sweet and mildly acidic sourness / tartness; nice beer. IrishBoy (4199) - Bakersfield, California, USA - NOV 26, 2008

On tap @ Bistro BA Fest poured a hazy orange with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of sour apple, light carmel, light oak and light honey. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a lightly dry finish. Flavors of wheat, apple, light carmel, light oak and a hint of honey with a crisp lingering lightly tart finish. golubj (1377) - San Mateo, California, USA - NOV 20, 2008
Draft at Bistro BA fest. Honestly, I don’t remember much about this one, however, I did write down that it was sweet up front. I liked it and I recorded a number rating before forgetting how it tasted.
