Original review date 8/16/2008...on tap at Stone Bistro...
Pours a very clean honey color with decent head-looks almost Pilsenerish
Faint yeast/malt electricity with slight horse blanket notes-nice but subtle
Very crisp orange yeast and honey with slight spice notes too.
Finish is extra clean from front to back-mild wood/pine feel
Definitely bright and sessionable. Maybe not a brutally profound or complex saision but extremely drinkable and enjoyable

On tap at Stone. Pours with a small, off-white head covering a clear yellow body. Aroma of candy, light spices and fruits. Taste is dry and sicey with apple and pepper. Creamy mouthfeel, light carbonation. GG (2332) - NorCal, California, USA - NOV 17, 2006
Iíd have to say that this is probably my least favorite beers from the VBC line-up. Saisonís can be so hard to make, and I applaud these guys for trying. However, comparitively speaking to their other beers it has a way to go before it catches up. Aroma was a bit spicy, slightly peppery with hints of the coriander they used in brewing. Appearance was a medium/dark orange. Mouthfeel was satisfyingly light, not harsh in any way and nothing offensive like. Flavor was a bit vegetative for me, but I could also detect some white pepper, bitter oranges and grain. A decent attempt and Iím sure they will work out the kinks and get this beer working soon. aspidites (1272) - manteca, California, USA - OCT 9, 2006
Extremely delicate and soft on the palate. Has notes reminiscent of a good Viognier. Floral and fruit forward wth an effervescent mouthfeel. Wonderful session beer that demands to be quaffed.
