Pretty good--some caramel/toffee without overly cloying sweetness; light enough to be refreshing (but strong enough to make sessioning a bit harder!)

Fra flaske, første dag på DØE Ølfestival i Lokomotivværkstedet maj-17: rødlig mahogny med svært kort skum. Ordinær pilsnersmag med extra karamel og urter. Flad og intetsigende.

Brown color, clean. Quickly falling beige head. Aroma caramel, biscuit. Palate watery, high carbonation. Taste burnt sugar, malty body, sweet finish. Not a disaster.

CloakedDagger (2481) - - APR 27, 2017
Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, orangey brown with a beige head. Nutty aroma, very subtle roastiness. Medium body, sweet roast, slightly toasty, sweet chocolate. Extremely clean, smooth and easygoing - exactly how I’d want my Dunkels. 270417

ClearHead (34) - FINLAND - APR 21, 2017
Bottle, at temperature. Beautiful dark amber colour. Low carbonation, slight head. Aroma malty, caramel, pleasant. Taste: nice bitterness, malt, fairly sweet, caramel. Mouthfeel fairly smooth, a bit oily. Lingering astringency. Not unpleasant for the right occasion. A bit too sweet though. (Aren’t most of them?)

DonGregorio (413) - POLAND - APR 18, 2017
Bottle. Clear dark red beer with creamy tan head. Faint aroma of caramel and bread. Taste is light to medium sweet, light bitter, caramel, bread, earthy. Light to medium body, average carbonation. OK.

2.5
mjs (7357) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 6, 2017
(Keg at Folkklubs Ala Pagrabs, 20170106) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had caramel, toffee and hint of toasted malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, caramel, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and mildly bitter. A way too sweet brew.
