Pretty good--some caramel/toffee without overly cloying sweetness; light enough to be refreshing (but strong enough to make sessioning a bit harder!)

Frothy beige head left a good cover on jet black slowly effervescent body. Treacle, licorice & dark spirits aroma. Medium to full bodied, super smooth & velvet like on the palate with a clean back. Sweet dark berries, stone fruit, malt, demerara, honey, aniseed & nutty tastes.

TET (3275) - Kaarina, FINLAND - DEC 8, 2017
A dark brown beer, a head is big and beige. Aroma has breadyness, sweetness of syrup, some red berries and chocolate. Taste has syrup maltyness, some roastiness and breadyness. Medium bodied, nicely smooth palate. Traditional and that I was expected. Decent.

rotaman14 (785) - Wiesbaden, GERMANY - DEC 4, 2017
Aroma: malty and toasty with bready and nutty notes. No vegetable or grass aroma. Taste: roasted malt, then a coffee-like bitterness, then a bitter roasted finish. Palate: quite heavily carbonated.

Bottle at C&R Pre-GBBF tasting 2017. It pours clear deep copper - brown with a medium white head. The aroma is malt - driven, brown bread, earth, wood and toasted nut. The taste is toasty, woody, earth, leather, brown bread, dirt, spice and toasted nut with a leathery finish. Light - medium body and average carbonation. Fairly ok for style.

Kauge (2131) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 16, 2017
Bottle, BB in a month. Sweet malty character, a bit muddy-herbal-earthy... Crisp, dryish finish, bit of a metallic tingle. Overall not bad, although I like the light version more. Would love to try the non-filtered versions.
