750mL bottle. Pours cloudy golden with a moderate foamy white head. Aroma is sickly sweet honey, overripe fruit, and some yeast. Taste is caramel, honey, bread, spice, and white grapes. Finish is dry with lingering yeast, spice, and fizziness. Medium body. Strong carbonation. Strange airy and astringent mouthfeel. oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 28, 2016
Pours a nice Medium golden yellow color. Minimal fizzy white head, lasted maybe a minute or two. Aromas of light spices, a touch of brown sugar, and something vegetal. onceblind (9629) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 1, 2016
Aged for an uncertain amount of time, a year at least. Cloudy deep golden with a thin rocky white head. Lovely bouquet of Belgian pale ale aromas, featuring pear, apple, white grape, fleshy pithy citrus and a somewhat corny undertone. Fleshy and dusty flavor like an authentic Belgian pale. Lots of pear and apple flesh, a bit of funky fruity yeast, a light bit of grape, and a corn/hay malty undertone. obguthr (6344) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - OCT 31, 2015
Pear nose, almost exclusively, not strong. Clear amber, medium head. Pear, white grape, lightly sweet. Medium body, easy carbonation. Good, not super complex. tia (2221) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - OCT 31, 2015
Bottle @ RVA 22nd. Lightly hazy, honey color. Smells like pool water and honey. Tastes like a big sweet pilsener.

Bottle shared by tia & HopTsing at the 22nd Richmond Gathering. Slightly hazy orange, thin fizzy off-white head, fair retention. Aroma of smoke, earth, caramel. The taste is caramel, yeast, stone fruit. Medium bodied, high carbonation. Decent. bytemesis (8357) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - OCT 2, 2015
Bottle with thanks to Brian! Pours clear orange, large clumpy white head, dissipates leaving lots of sticky lacing. Aroma is hay, spice, lightly fruity. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, hints of hay and peppery grasses along with faint citrus, clove and orange peel. Medium body, high carbonation. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUN 19, 2015
Bottle. Pours an extremely fizzy light brown color with a rather thick light tan head on there. Nose is pretty light and floral, with a bit of banana and Belgian yeast to it. Taste is light and crisp, but not too flavorful in the end. I wanted a bit more from this. Kyle77 (44) - North Carolina, USA - JUN 1, 2015
From site: With its 7.0% alcohol by volume, Vampire Pale Ale is somewhat higher in alcohol content than regular ales, but it’s not overpowering like the name might suggest. Instead its alluring color and aroma envelop the ever-present hops and fruity esters that leads you craving for more and more. Like all living ales, Vampire Pale Ale will continue to improve with age.

Pours slightly hazy page gold with a three fingers of loose ivory head, good retention and lacing. (3/5) Nose is Belgian yeast, lemon, apples and pears, pale malt, light pepper. (7/10) Taste is moderate sweet, mild bitter. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, lingering dry finish. (4/5)
A fairly middle-of-the-pack BPA. Decent fruitiness, but not entirely clean - there’s a little brown apple in there, but not bad overall. (14/20)
