[email protected]: clear golden with white head, sharp bitter Belgian hop, malt & with a touch of fruity sweetness buried underneath (barely noticeable), hint of esters, lemon peel, light, overall there is not much to this & not really going crazy for this kind of Belgian bitter hops

stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - JUL 11, 2011
Pours a hazy and yellow beer with a large white head. The aroma is weak with malt and fruit. The flavor follows the nose with additional hops. The palate is bitterness with notes of sweetness. Overall a beer just below average.

Draught at Pegasus, Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear golden, rocky head. Herbal resiny nose. Fruity and mid sweet with lots of resiny bitter hops. Slight almondy yeast character, almost aggressive bitterness.

First greeted by a little funky yeasty aroma. Medium yellow, generous three quarters of an inch head retention.Lots of lace was left in th glass. Good outhfeel, aAppropriate carbonation. Th taste yields a light bitterness, I was expecting more bitterness. Spot on the style, thanks for bringing back from Michigan, Ken.

Bottle. Creamy white excellent mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Nice fruity esters. Creamy palate but a little too fizzy.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2012 Big frothy white head over a very yellow body. Fresh yeast, pine, leaves and peanuts. Bubbly head leaves layers in the glass and indeed it’s pretty heavily carbonated. Very nice dry taste with a lingering acidity to balance it. In a lot it reminds me of Duvel and that’s a big compliment. Really enjoyable and refreshing. (33cl bottle) (Rating re-indexed)

330ml bottle picked up from the fridge at ‘t Antwaerps Bierhuiske and shared with Finn at the hotel room. Pours a huge, rocky white head with fine retention and rings of lace. Hazy golden body. Grass hoppy nose with a spicy touch. Fruit hoppy taste together with caramel malts. Bittersweet end. Drinks quite well (Antwerpen, 29.04.2011).
