Pilsner and wheat malt provide the backbone of this deceptively light ale spiced with fresh orange peel and coriander seeds to produce a rich, clean flavour. Belgian yeast creates its hazy white appearance with a crafted sweet citrus aroma and reserved hop freshness.

Bottle. Not the best Aussie made Belgian wit being rather too light and wartery on the palate. Requisite orangey notes are there but I couldnt detect much of the spicy and coriander elements that I associate with the best examples of the style. It pours hazy straw yellow with a decent white head and lace rings.

Honestly I was hoping for a little more flavour and complexity to this beer, however the pilsner malts dont contribute strongly to overall flavours. There is some sweetness in the palate of this beer, mostly expressing orange aromas. Some spice present. Not my favourite but it shows some promise for this brewery.

330ml stubbie. BB 13/12/13. Poured a translucent/hazy straw/pale lemon colour with a few white bubbles for a head. No lacing. Low carbonation as seen by small and medium sized bubbles forming a few trails. Aroma of yeast plus subtle spice/coriander, all with an underlying sourness. Taste of light spice/coriander with a bit of acidity on the back palate plus a sour after-taste. Light body, bordering on watery. A short light sour finish.

A bit simple and low-brow but works well enough as a straightforward crowd pleaser. Concentrated orange lends some sweetness to the palate but otherwise theres not a heap happening. Some buzzy fruit tingle flavour as well but this doesnt prevent some cloying on the finish.

Pours hazy straw with a small, rapidly dissipating head. Nose shows cidery notes, citrus peel, cinnamon, banana, cloves. Not sure what this is aiming for, hefe or wit. Reminiscent of T58 yeast. Big doughy yeasty notes. Flavours include more cinnamon, wheat, cidery notes and little else. Could use more carbonation. To make things worse, the last two slabs we got of this were infected.... Not a good track record.

From a 330ml bottle on 14/12/2011. Pours a pale cloudy yellow with a big head. Has an aroma of banana and spices. The flavour is curious. Theres quite a bit sharp spiciness against a lemony, orange peel background, but not much else. Has a short, abrupt finish. Not a good example of the style.

330ml bottle. Light amber in colour with some haze and a big rocky white head as expected. Well carbonated with orange and coriander in the nose. Clean crisp mouthfeel and cleanses the palate well. Light in the mouth with a citrus backdrop.
