250 ml bottle, bought at Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.1%. Cloudy brownish red colour, large pinkish head. Intense sweet aroma and flavour of strawberry jam and artificial "strawberry" candy bars, kind of sickly and sugary. Not undrinkable though. If blindfolded, I would probably not have guessed that this was a beer at all. Not my cup of tea (uh, beer) this one, but people who love candy and strawberry soda might like it. Bottle. Quite a bright reddish brown beer with a light head. The aroma is very fruity and the flavour is full fruit and quite thick. Overall a very nice strawberry beer - more complex than the norm. Rune (13720) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAR 25, 2008
250ml bottle at Cafe Rouge, Oxford. Served with ice!.Disgusting appearance (for a beer) with its rosy foam resting on a hazy, reddish body. For me this is a drink with water and berries and not a beer. And I made a great mistake to order this White Fruit Beer with food. Never again! UPDATED: APR 15, 2008 250 ml bottle (Vaaland, Bryne). Cloudy reddishorange color, purple head. Aroma is starwberry!. flavor is strawberry and some sourness. Not bad at all, but I could not drink the the whole bottle, and I guess that means that this is not my kind of beer. johndoughty (5600) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2008
Slightly cloudy and totally dominated by strawberries. Not really my taste but something different for the summer.

Your basic fruit beer. the strawberries made it intriguing to me. Great Strawberry flavor, and a hint of spice. The hint of spice makes it better than your average massively fruited beer but not much. Definitely more fruit than beer. yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 24, 2008
Bottle. Pours a reddish orange, quite murky body with a dense, off-white/pink, medium sized head that leaves some nice lacings. Frozen and tawing strawberries, rather artificial and sweetish, with powdersugar and some sourish notes. Sweet flavor with white sugar and strawberry. Strawberry finish too. Sticky in the mouth. A quite nice fruitbeer in a way, but I’m not overly content with it. (080112) gunnfryd (15477) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 22, 2008
Bottle. Brown / orange colour with a white head. Strong aroma of sugar and ripe strawberry. Flavour is the same. I like this one. sstackho (249) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 21, 2008
250mL bottle from the LCBO in Toronto. Pours a nice, cloudy dark brown. Smells like children’s cough syrup - ugh. The taste is, not surprisingly, of strawberries. Better than children’s cough syrup anyway. This is like strawberry juice. (Well, I suppose it IS strawberry juice.) Which isn’t so bad, I suppose - unless you were hoping for something resembling a beer. jgb9348 (6579) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - FEB 17, 2008
Sampled as ’Frubee Strawberry’:
Deep orange/ruby coloured body with severe hazyness and a nice pinkish head with some cream colour to it. Aroma of yeast, caster sugar, malt and you guessed it: pure strawberries...very nice. Medium to Full-bodied; Wierd tartness and strong flavours up front with a bunch of alcohol and malt noticeable then fading to an all out fruit attack. Aftertaste shows some of the lingering bitterness, but mostly fruity and almost no alcohol is noticeable. Overall, this beer is alright - not enough going on for me to truly enjoy...but its good to sample. I sampled this 25 cL bottle purchased at K&E Discount Liquors in New Paltz, New York on 15-December-2005.
