Fruli is a high quality Belgian white beer blended with pure fruit juice. The strawberry juice compliments the zesty fruitiness of the wheat beer and the result is a natural, soft and refreshing drink that is simply delicious!

250ml bottle. Pours a cloudy bubbly, reddish brown colour. Smells almost entirely of strawberries, with a hint of sourness. Very sweet, quite smooth. Kind of reminds me of a strawberry soda mixed with some alcohol. Doesn’t really taste like a beer, but I quite like it.

Brown bottle, 250 ml, purchased at the LCBO in Sioux Lookout; eye: brown with a strawberry hue, no effervescence, tiny beige head that disappears rapidly; nose: lots of strawberry, fruity, sugar, strawberry yogout; mouth: lots of strawberry, then a wave of sugar, a bit of malt, cloying finale with a lot of strawberry, quite sweet, average carbonation, medium body, a bit thin; overall: once is enough FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 250 ml, achetée au LCBO à Sioux Lookout; oeil : brune avec une teinte fraise, pas d’effervescence, petite mousse beige qui disparaît rapidement; nez : très fraise, fruitée, sucre, yogourt aux fraises; bouche : beaucoup de fraise, puis une grosse vague de sucre, un peu de malt, yogourt aux fraises, finale toquante avec beaucoup de fraise, très sucrée, carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen, un peu mince; en résumé : une fois, c’est assez

Not bad at all - don’t believe everything you read on ratebeer. Tiny pink head, red-grapefruit-pink shades in the body. Quite fresh strawberry aroma. Taste mushed strawberries but remember to leave out the yeast. Without it, it’s dry and fresh.

GreenDragon (219) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 18, 2008
Pours a hazy cherry red with a small white head that quickly subsides. Sweet, overpowering strawberry aroma. Sweet strawberry taste on a light lively body.,

FatPhil (17334) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 13, 2008
250ml bottle. Red, hazy (from yeast only at bottom of bottle), thin wispy head. Very sweet strawberry aroma - like real fruit. Taste very similar. Without yeast it’s crisper and sourer, with yeast it’s slushier and a bit rubbery (not dark burnt rubber though). No finish. Summery.

doublebock (558) - California, USA - JAN 11, 2008
Sweet fruity malty candy aroma. Color is hazy orange-amber. A bit flat, Tart strawberry orange flavor without much hops to speak of. Hints of cotton candy. Not the best belgian strawbeer but doesn’t deserve this low of a rating.

rederic (3344) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 9, 2008
Hazy, murky pinkyish hue, with a white-pinky head, but falls quickly, good strawberry, raspberry jam nose, with a faint wheaty malt note, some fruity strawberry jello accents, with a subtle coriander spiciness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet acidic strawberry, kind of artificial fruity character, with a raspberry candyish flavor, leading towards a straberryish, acidic finish. A nice fruity bière blanche.

Nejhleader (1574) - Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 22, 2007
pretty good strawberry beer. pretty good body, nice strawberry taste, but keeps good beer characteresitcs whatever that means.

larsga (7675) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 15, 2007
Small pinkish head. Pinkish opaque body. Sweetish strawberry and yoghurt aroma. Sweetish artificial strawberry taste with yoghurty, metal notes. A bit watery. Yucky strawberry metal aftertaste. Didn’t enjoy this. Left half the glass. (0.5pt keg at the Admiral Hardy, Greenwich.)

Grovlam (4257) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 26, 2007
Bottle. [Trade with yespr, Thanks buddy] Average creamy and reddish head that mostly lasted. Good display of film like lacework. Muddy and reddish light brown color with heavy lumps of what might be yeast in the bottom of the glass. Heavy strawberry aroma. Almost like strawberry jam, not like fresh strawberries. Sweet fruity undertones and a hint of acidic as well. Light bodied with a thin texture and an average carbonation. Heavy sweet flavor. Sweet strawberry finish. Not that bad.
