Bottle, 75cl, at RBNG-14 Grand Tasting. A lightly unclear one, golden in color and with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. The aroma has a nice yeasty touch, white sugar and pine cones. Grass, peppery hints and some pleasant maltyness. A really nice bitterness in the flavor, with pine cones, resins and pine cones. Some peppery notes too. Full body, dry and with a nice carbonation. Lasting bitter and piney finish. Sure a nice one, quenching and tasteful. 140215

Countbeer (6591) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - FEB 12, 2014
Bottle: Served in a shaker glass: Medium to bigger sized white sticky fluffy airy foamy head on top of a cloudy yellow colored beer. Aromas of glue ish hops, floral and herbal tones, some grains and sharper floral grains. Not a pleasant inviting aroma. Flavours of loads of sharper herbal tones, some bitters, guess some hops, plants, yeast, green branches, grass, grains, hay and some sweets like honey/sugars but overpowered by the big sharper floral tones and bitters Aftertaste is strong floral, sharp, bitter, plants, grass and some yeast. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied and a creamy texture. Gets a tiny bit better with time, but still not that mouthentertaining.

Appearance is cloudy goldenrod colored with a small fine bubbled airy light-yellow head, that left no lacing. Aroma of lemon peels, banana, herbs and flora. Flavours of lemon peels, herbs, wheat bread, banana and a hint of spices. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is medium-light bodied, smooth texture and lively carbonation. A great style typical Belgian Ale.
