Kado van GSAP. Donkerbruine kleur, plakkerige kraag die inzakt tot een laagje op het bier. Ruikt mufmoutig, roodfruit als kersen en bessen op de achtergrond. Smaak is mokka achtig, fruitig maar dan meer citrussig en ergens iets pittigs in de afdronk.

33 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Alex and Susanne. Clear dark brown with a thin tan head. Roasted malt aroma with some hops. Nice bitter taste and some pretty prickly carbonation. Nice fresh black IPA.

Bottle. Brown bronze pour. Aroma of caramel, licorice, peach and coffee. Taste of licorice, caramel, peach, bitter hop, coffee, cacao and a bitter finish. Solid.

Draft - Dark and roasty with some pine notes. Jet black with a rich beige head, dark roast and very soft hops. Not much bitterness and quite soft.

330 mml bottle as part of the European Local Swap 2 2017, many thanks to RW80 for this one. Tasted on the 04/05/2017. Extremely black body with a tan beige head. Aroma of intense roasted malts and bread, dried fruits, cherries and liquorice. Taste is red dried fruits, roasted malts, liquorice and a fruity finish. Medium to intense bitter finish. Next one please!

Tasting glass @ Van Moll. Very dark brown amber, huge creamy tanned head. Nose is wonderful pine, big pine resin huge grapefruit & pine with dark cereal base. Taste is strong bitter pine & grapefruit, really great hops, wondrful bitterness, great balance with chocolate & mocha base (complimentary),... Good malt body, strong bitterness. Really nice BIPA. Top 3 Van Moll beer for me, really excellent, far above their average.

Draft 0.15l at Foeders Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 16.02.2017. Taste with kermis. Pour it dark color with big brown head. Aroma chocolate with some candy sugar notes. Taste starts with grassy, herbal, chocolate, some coffee, little bit bitterish finish, medium bitterness, medium body, slick and thick feel, average carbonation, bitter.

Bottle. Thanks to Mr Hangover. Black body with tan head. Aroma is hoppy dried fruits cherries coffee and hints of malts. Taste is fruity sweet with coffee and hints of citrus. Aftertaste is nice bitter. Nice one.

From tap @ Arendsnest, sample size. Black color. Uneven, somewhat frothy light beige head with some lacing. Aroma’s of roasted malts, drop/licorice, resinous hops. Retronasal there’s roast, drop, some sweetness. Flavor is bitter with some dark malty sweetness. Medium bodied. Finishes with ground coffee, bitter and roasted. Nice!
