Draught @ the source: served in a small tumbler. Small creamy head. Cloudy ruby colored. Aromas of coffee, malts, bay leaf, dried leaves and tobacco. Flavours of coffee, bitters, dries leaves, hint of cacoa, toast, some hay toast and some chocolate with a grassy edge. Even some hops come through. Good. Aftertaste is bitter with dried leaves, toast, light chocolate and some hay toast. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied. Nice porter! Easy drinker with a good bitterness.

Tap @ van Moll, large sample. Slight hazy brown color, short off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, mocha, bit earthy. Bit on the sweet side in taste, full of mocha and chocolate again. Some earthy bitterness to balance it. Wonderful explosion of aroma and flavor for this low ABV. No roast, but mocha all the way. Great beer.
