On tap at the brewpub. Clear, very pale straw yellow with a creamy, white head. Grassy, slightly fruity aroma of hay, citrus and grains. Slightly bitter, grassy and slightly fruity taste of hay, some citrus and grains, followed by a short, rather bitter, grassy and quite dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent, rather dry and crisp Pilsener. 77ships (9632) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - OCT 26, 2015
Tasting glass draft @ Van Moll Brewpub. Marketed as “De eigen pilsener van Van Moll” / Van Moll’s Pilsner whilst it is their own beer not brewed on premise apparently. Very hazy orange, creamy white. Nose is weird wet paper, cereal, sugar, hay, musty. Taste is heavy creamy yeast, wet paper, sugar, tastes like they took the base of a slightly dull hoppy blond beer from their line up & cut-out anything remotely interesting, getting some cereal, huger, overly dull & yeasty. Thick cereal & yeast body. Meh.

Huh?! I had it, rated it and stored it here. And now it has disappeared?! WTF!
So, I had this beer from draught at the source.
Always friendly lads working behind the counter. A firm handshake, babble and minute later you’ll find yourself a seat to enjoy your beer.
Most, if not all Van Moll beers are more than decen, they’re pretty good and so was this pils. Maybe not the best out there, but easy drinkable and tasty enough to enjoy in good company over a chat or a game... Cheers and don’t delete more of my ratings! skortila (5793) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - JAN 1, 2015
