DraftDodger (1532) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 11, 2017
UPDATED: JUL 25, 2017 Larnaka 11/7 2017. 50 cl can from Habang Store. Golden shield with two goats on the can and a declaration in Polish, that this is a "refreshment with temperament". Pours clear pale yellow with big white head. Diminishes gradually to a thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Lacing along the side of the glass. Aroma is quite malty. Hay, grass and salt. Low carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is thin and pretty uninteresting. Ok balance between medium sweetness and medium to light bitterness. Drinkable in a very warm place like Cyprus, but I find it pretty hard to detect the aforementioned "Temperament".

Bottle 50cl.
Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, straw, light hoppy. Flavor is light to moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (300508)

BlackHaddock (7346) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2014
500ml can (BBD 14th Jan 2015) shared with my father on 25th May 2014 while preparing a Barbecue. The can came from a Polish shop in Boston, Lincolnshire. Bog standard pilsner/lager: almost no aroma, almost no taste, no redeeming features. Bright, golden and clean looking with the usual white fading head. Some grainy sweetness in both the nose and mouth but otherwise pretty boring and bland.

Marko (5718) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - MAR 25, 2009
0.5l can courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who found it in Hungary (thanks!). Poured a medium-small white head that went away fast. Golden body. Malty nose, some veggies. Weak, watery taste, some fine piney hopiness (whoa), not bitter, sweetish, a bit eggy maltiness. Ok, unremarkable despite the hop.

Ungstrup (37677) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 3, 2009
Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and brewing cereal, and so is the flavor, while the body is thin.

OK, at the very first I was like "This is ok, at least there are not really off flavors" and them Bammo! a few sneak in. Still, nicely bitter, metallic, slight corn/DMS. Aroma mild and mostly hay. Flavor also contains a bit of white sugar, and you just don’t want that. Nevertheless, I have had waaaaaay worse Polish lagers. Sustains minimal carbonation to look at but miraculously it is there when you take a drink.

SarkyNorthener (4627) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 3, 2014
Can from polish shop, burton. Golden beer with medium frothy head. Aroma of sweet corn and a little floral edge. Taste is bread and pale malts. Soft on the palate. Not bad.
