Poured from 650mL bottle. Clear amber colour with minimal white head, fair bit of carbonation. Very full gingerbread aroma - spices: clove, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg. Flavoured the same, but extremely mild, literally watery, can barely taste anything. Friend tried it and said, "Where’s all the flavour?!"

WheatKing (1338) - Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA - MAR 13, 2013
A very simple beer with the gingerbread spices. Nutmeg and cinnamon makes it a bit interesting, but overall way too thin. Like a pumpkin beer without the pumpkin. Or malt. Not for me.

Lagerboy (2221) - British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 10, 2013
Clear medium copper, pillowy off white head slowly settles into a lasting creamy cap. Pungent baking spice aroma and.... not much else. Taste is all spices with some clove, ginger and watery malts. Lively carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. Thin and festive, okay for what it is. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

Light brown, lasting beige head.Great nose of ginger, nutmeg & cinnamon promises more than the palate delivers, mostly watery ginger

JHunter (676) - British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 6, 2012
Pours a a dark amber with a medium size head. Strong aroma of ginger and nutmeg and a little bit of cinnamon. Flavour is a little lighter then the aroma but lost of ginger not so much cookie nice holiday ale but not something that I can drink a bunch of .

RumRunner101 (918) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 30, 2012
Pours a murky brown. Spicy aroma of ginger, cinnamon, a little bit of roasted malt. Flavour is very gingerbread like. Surprise! Not too heavy or cloying, but well put together. I definitely couldn’t drink a lot of this, but a glass is a nice treat.

LarryBeast (616) - - NOV 28, 2012
650ml bottle. Ruby/amber with foamy head. Aroma is all spice -- cinnamon and nutmeg dominate. Taste is less pronounced -- like a slightly muted, malty gingerbread, tinged with cloves. Very thin mouthfeel. Different, but not something I would go back to.

CapFlu (5129) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 24, 2012
(650ml bottle) Purchased at the Strath. Pours a small white lasting head atop a deep reddish brown body. Nose of pure nutmeg. Very spicy front and mid-palate waivers into a thin, near maltless tongue.pretty average.

fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 14, 2012
Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Dark amber color, small head. Light aroma of cloves. Some caramel flavor, but very strong flavor of cloves (and then nutmeg and cinnamon) to overwhelm anything else. Too much, unbalanced, out of control.

Oakes (18557) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 13, 2012
Draught @ St. Augustine’s. Hazy amber. The aroma has a lot of cinnamon and nutmeggy accents, as well as light amber maltiness. Gingery and cinnamony notes on the palate, with light malts again. Balanced, with a gingery finish.
