UPDATED: APR 29, 2014 Apr 29, 2014 - fresher and better. 650ml bottle from Penticton. Less sweet, more tasty malts, well done and I’m surprised how much I’m enjoying this. fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 7, 2008
Crystal clear and amber, Piper’s dumped into a glass produces less than expected white head and pretty much goes average all the way. Aromas of sweet malts, slightly floral hops and maybe a metallic feel (not sure). Taste is pretty standard as well with decent malts on the sweet side, weak spicy hops and a touch of overripe orange fruit (not oranges though). Fairly smooth beer, medium bodied with a weak bitter finish.
Draught at Vancouver airport loungeEructoblaster (4329) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 27, 2008
Amber color. It has a nice hoppy aroma, but the flavor is more common. Still, one of the few interesting beers at airport lounges.
