Can. Completely clouded cranberry-orange hue with a dense, creamy sand-colored head. Flavor is what it purports to be--sweet potato (mashed and slightly caramelized) with a cinnamony piquancy and a mild, earthy bitterness. Captures the vegetable well, though it’s not a flavor I think I need in a beer more than once a year.

Can. Pours bright orange with a small beige head and decent lacing. Aroma is pumpkin spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, a bit earthy. Flavor is light plus sweet, quite spiced, earthy. Medium body. Decent sipper. odinstyr (807) - Hamilton, New Jersey, USA - NOV 8, 2015
Pours a red-brown with a white head. Smells of cinnamon, nutmeg, sweet potato pie. Taste is sweet, spiced, mildly bitter. pineypower (3352) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - OCT 31, 2015
Pours out a slightly hazy orangy color with a moderate soft off white head. Aroma is of sweet potatoes, sweet cinnamon, some vanilla bean, light syrupy notes. Taste is complex, nice light silky nitro body, sweet potato casserole, vanilla bean, some maple, light spice. Really solid. Thanks to Jones. raymow (1879) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 8, 2015
on tap at the brewpub in Yardley - taste of cinnamon and nice amber color. Heard a lot of people raving about this but I’m not a big fan. SteveOrz85 (258) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 27, 2015
12 oz can served in a pint glass. One finger or so tan head sticks around a while. Little bit of lacing. Aroma is not impressive. A little sweet potatoe and a little yeast. Taste is good. Notes of sweet potatoe and a little carmel and spice. Medium bodied beer with average carbonation. Over all very good. I’m impressed. Nice autumn alternative to the pumkin ales.
