From tap at Vaust. Pours hazy dark brown with a small off white head. Aroma is liqourice and roasted malt. Medium sweet, liqourice and roasted malty, light bitter and mild grassy. Roasted caramelish to breadish malty finish.

Light unclear medium brown colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, brown sugar, light roasted. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, caramelized malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Vaust, Berlin. Large, creamy, light brown head on a clear deep, mahogany colored body. Inviting toasted, figs and other dried fruits on the nose. Nice roasted, toasted caramel mouth. Flavors are mellow, but the mouthfeel is pretty sharp. Medium bodied, this drink grows in the mouth. Overcarbonated.

Tap at Vaust. A pretty ruby-chestnut pour, dark with a rocky, frothy tan head, malty nose. Taste is lightly malty , very light-bodied, relatively dry and rubbery, some fruit and some far-flung roast. Very low-level bitterness. Plain but clean and with a nice dry aftertaste (with even a few hops).
