COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Vedett, a blond, light, well hopped premium beer with 5.2% alcohol content, is the cult Duvel Moortgat beer today: following its birth in 1945, it quickly acquired fame and recognition within an intimate circle of insiders in the Antwerp-Brussels region. But do not think for a moment that this oldtimer is thinking about retirement, quite the contrary. For the past years, Vedett has been going through a second childhood in a number of trendy cafés located mainly in big cities. The secret of its charm? A retro-look, a capricious taste, Vedett-allure and the "golden touch" of the brewery. These past years, the brewery armed Vedett with an innovative, hip, young and slightly absurd image. A successful strategy, especially with the youth: Right now, you'll find Vedett in Belgian Delhaize supermarkets and most Flemish cities as well as in Brussels. And the follow-up to the story? You can read it at www.vedett.com.

Toute bonne pils pour boire entre amis ! De plus leur système d’étiquette personnalisable est vraiment génial ! Santé ! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fairly standard lager beer with a bit of bitterness in the aftertaste. Pale yellow with a bit of head, nothing terribly exciting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Uninspiring but fully drinkable lager. Not too gassy and no real hint of adjuncts. Better than the vast majority of this style.

Tastes like a very hoppy light lager, although buying blind I was expecting a white or Belgian blonde style beer. Not bad, but don’t think I would repeat.
