Smaakt een beetje naar perzik, je moet er van houden. Voor mijn was het geen bier die ik snel nog 1 keer pak

bearacle (11) - Deventer, NETHERLANDS - JUN 20, 2017
Draught @De Hip Deventer. Aroma flat without any citrus or whatsoever. Taste slightly citrussy and small bitterness. Aftertaste slightly staying not unpleasant bitter. At the end i would say perfect beer for starting IPA drinker.

Oranjegeel, witte schuimkraag, iets wazig, redelijk veel koolzuur. Aroma: Citrus, fruitige hops, karamel zoet, zoete mout. Makkelijke doordrinker.

Hazy golden colour with white head. Limited head retention. Aroma quite fruity with a hint of spice. Flavour has some mellow malty notes, coupled with a punchy bitterness that gently fades in the finish. It’s a nice beer, not the best example of the style that I’ve tasted, but a very decent one nonetheless.

Pyrmir (5984) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - JUN 3, 2017
330 ml bottle in a park in Leuwen, from the bottle. Aroma and taste has more characteristics of a blond more than ipa, yeasty, mellow wheaty malt base, marked but definitely not dominating hops with slight fruit, grass, hay and flowery herbs. Decent

330 ml bottle bought at Gorgeous Wine & Cigar in Yuen Long.

Clear amber honey coplour with a thin ring of dirt-like yeast sediments; Three-quarter finger head with crumpety white foam which lasts for 2 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with notable very slight carbonation; Very fragrant aroma of Ale malt, with strong passion fruits, jack fruits, tangerines, candied fruits, honey, floral, strong fructose, spices, light pine, yeast, lemon and grass; Medium sweet taste of Ale malt, with fair Amberness, light caramel, light grapefruits, oranges, floral, light fructose, very light resins, light biscuits, lemon, medium bitter hops and strong grass; Close to medium body. Slick palate; Mouth feel is fair Amber Ale maltyness in a fairly solid background. Citrusy, quite orangey but low on grapefruits. Flowery with medium sweetness. Low ooze, light biscuits with lemon to round. Simple and okay... Hoppiness is strong passion fruits, jack fruits, tangerines, candied fruits, floral, spices, light pine, lemon and grass in nose. Light grapefruits, oranges, floral, light ooze, lemon, and grass in taste; Bitterness is fair for an abrupt, medium astringent sweet malty finish; Fairy dry after taste. Fairly grassy and light bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one’s hops aroma is very promising with all those sweet tropical fruits, but taste wise its was very underwhelming - citrus is light, bitterness in shory supply, no spice, no pine and with just a bit of ooze. Looks like it gears towards younger customers who don’t like the overt bitterness of the style, but this is the essence of IPA. Okay to drink but don’t take it serious.

From the famous belly bottle an orange bell ipa scented to hay bacon, citrus and some pepper from the famous duck yeast especially refreshing but also caramel sweet, pretty good but also a little boring

Bottle. Vedett IPA. Hazy golden colour with a good white head. Aroma of earth, grape, hops. Taste is the same. Harsh bitterness.

Zarrach76 (260) - Grenoble, FRANCE - MAY 15, 2017
Bouteille 33cl, V&B Grenoble.

Extraordinary indeed. A drinkable Belgian session IPA with nice combination of peppery aromas from the grain bill, European hops and the yeast
