Vedett Extra White has a delicious refreshing taste, surprisingly crisp punctuated with an orange- and lemon like zest, rounded with a mildly bitter taste and dry finish.

300 (?) mL bottle. Hazy pale orange with a small white head. Citrus (lemon) and wheat in the aroma. Same goes for the flavour. Quite dry for the style, at least compared to North American interpretations. More lemon than orange, and some fitting bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable. Nice beer.

Bottle: Poured a light yellow color ale with white hue and a large enough white head with OK retention. Aroma of light wheat malt and citrus notes is OK. Taste of weak wheat malt and light zesty undertone sis a bit weak. Body is light with good carbonation. Short on complexity and drinkability is just not high enough to compensate.

300 ml bottle from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Murky light straw with a full white head. Aroma: Fairly pungent citrus, light esters, some earthiness from the coriander, some grainy/wheat character, decent. Palate: Medium body, fairly lively effervescence. Flav.: A decent blend of citrus/earthiness, esters, wheat/cereals, yeast; dry with minimal bitterness and a pleasantly fruity finish.

Light and affable.

Pretty straight forward wit, hazy yellow pour, big white head. Aroma of malted wheat, some bright citrus, grassy notes and touches of herbs and corriander. Super clean, and crisp, but a tad watery. Refreshing, and leaves a pleasant citrus flavor in your mouth. Very low bitterness, and high drinkability. Perfect patio beer.

Bottle from the LCBO. Lovely lemon curd yellow body with a moderate haziness and small white head. Aroma and flavour are both right in the wheelhouse for the style, albeit leaning strongly to the lemony side of things, especially in the flavour. Crisp, refreshing, really easy to drink - and no skunkiness despite the green bottle. Quite nice!

Pours a lemon juice colour, slightly cloudy, with a fingers worth of white head. Aroma is somewhat spicy, yeasty, some citrus. Taste is modestly yeasty with some hints of spice. Taste is fleeting though.

Promises much but doesnt quite deliver - really great nose with peppery spices and citrus, but the flavour is dominated by lemon and fades away too quickly. Cloudy straw colour with a white head thats gone after the first couple of minutes. Not bad but certainly not great.

---Rated via Beer Buddy by Sátyro
