Vedett Extra White has a delicious refreshing taste, surprisingly crisp punctuated with an orange- and lemon like zest, rounded with a mildly bitter taste and dry finish.

Dun witbier, smaakt met name naar citroen, of je een Radler drinkt maar dan met minder smaak en met alcohol.

UPDATED: SEP 20, 2017 Bottle at home. Cloudy straw, creamy white head. Dry malty and yeasty, creamy, light citrus and sweet. Light bodied, medium-high carbonation.

midovark (1040) - Balassagyarmat, HUNGARY - SEP 1, 2017
Bottle @ Café Belga, Marbella. Light yellow, white head. Average, light and easy witbier, a bit too watery and sourish for me, but not bad.

stupre (482) - Nanterre, FRANCE - AUG 31, 2017
25cl on tap @ La Capsule Paris. Robe très claire avec fine mousse blanche. Légère en goût et très aqueuse.

25cl draught at Parkkaffee (14 VIII 2017), shared with my girlfriend. Cloudy, ugly dirt looking hazy pale body with a dull white soapy collar on top, quite longlasting yet minimal whatsoever. A greenish gloom makes up for an unnatural yet not uninteresting, highly commercialized brew. This Moortgat’s take on Hoegaarden has a rather comparable nose although less black pepper spiced. Think of refreshing green herbs, ginger, lime zeste, lemon and lemonade flavours. A wheaty backbone comes together in nose and mouthfeel alike. The taste is somewhat mediocre with a subtle lime caracther building upon a too watery spine. Some gingerlike and minth features top the flattish palate. The ending has some fresh notes, fruit hints even (citrus and passiflora in particular), but also some artificial and metallic aspects. This Vedett Extra White actually is a decent witbier or wheat ale try with keen malt and alcoholic dashes. The carbonation is pretty mild, the bitterness is not fierce. Ok!
