Draught at KØ13 as Jydske Bryghuse Ale No 1. Hazy dark brown colour. Very small white head. The flavour is citric and malty. Seems a little infected.

Odense catch-up from the cellar. Copper with a lasting off-white head. Fruity aroma with malt and a hint of ashtray. Sweet fruity, malty and smoked flavour. The smoke always seems like an off-note NosirIwont (2549) - Frederikssund, DENMARK - FEB 18, 2014
Bottle. 5.3%. Best before 08.14. Pours a cloudy dark reddish brown with a tan head. Good lacing. Hoppy aroma, candy-like, with a light smoked note, incresing as it warms. Flavour is smoked and hoppy. Sweetish as it warms. Bitter finish, a bit tart, with a lingering grassy note. Overall so-so. Not bad as such; the hop profile is actually rather good, but the smoked notes don’t really work; there is not enough body in the beer to make it work properly; they just feel intrusive. 18.02.14. Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, reddish brown with a neat, beige head. Sweet aroma of ripe plums. Medium body, sweet, caramellish maltiness with quite some ashtray and smoke and a dryish finish. A rather odd creation, but not exactly terrible. 110214

Brown with beige head. Aroma of malt. Flavor with caramel, bread and spices. Bamsen78 (5452) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - NOV 14, 2013
Bottle, courtesy of MiP. Pours slightly cloudy dark copper brown with airy but stable beige head. Complex aroma of malt, caramel, hops, spice, and fruit. Roasted and hoppy onset, giving way to sweetish, malty and caramellish notes, ending dry and roasty. High carbonation. Not bad, just too smoky for a plain brown ale.
